Career

Acting was her passion since childhood - her father and uncle had done various Gujarati plays - but she started with a short modelling workshop. She went to Pune for higher studies and had almost finished her junior college when her pictures were sent to Balaji Telefilms and she got a call for an audition for Kasamh Se. She had just turned 17 when her career began on Kasamh Se and left her studies for a while. She is now continuing with her correspondence course. She has also starred in her first movie Rock On !! which was released on 29 August 2008 and Farhan Akhtar as her co-star.

Kasamh Se is the serial that Prachi Desai starred in and got her fame on Zee TV. She has captured many a hearts with this program acting as innocent but strong willed Bani Dixit (now Bani Walia). Prachi left Kasamh Se on 15 April 2008 and was replaced by Gurdeep Kohli after being burnt and drowned in episode 564. Kasamh Se ended 12 March 2009. In the last episode, Prachi Desai made a special appearance as the former Bani. Kasautii Zindagii Kay was aired on Star Plus which was a TV serial in which Prachi did a cameo for 2 days as a school student in Prerna's school. Prachi Desai was her character name in Kasauti Zindagi Ki. In the serial she works as a student who tries to go with her lover far away without the permission of her parents and was caught by the show's heroine who complains this to her and her lover's parents.starred in and got her fame on Zee TV. She has captured many a hearts with this program acting as innocent but strong willed Bani Dixit (now Bani Walia).

Prachi then entered Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, the Indian version of America's dancing show "Dancing With The Stars", on 7 September 2007 with choreographer Deepak Singh. Prachi impressed the judges every week, but was ultimately eliminated on 10 November 2007. However, she entered the contest again via the Wildcard entry on 23 November 2007. Prachi then landed a spot in the Grand Finale of the dance show on 15 December 2007 and won the 1st place amongst the contestants. Prachi Desai was awarded the Dancing star of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2. However it has been alleged that she was made to return as a wild card entry in spite of her elimination due to a direct intervention from her close personal friend Ekta Kapoor which compelled the producers of the show to change the international format of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

UPSIDE-DOWN CHOCOLATE CAKE

Ingredients :
2 T. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 can (1 lb.) apricot halves, drained
8 to 10 maraschino cherries, halved
1/3 c. butter
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. Hershey's cocoa
Dash of cinnamon
2 eggs
1-3/4 c. sifted cake flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation :
Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a heavy frying pan or 9-inch square pan. Add brown sugar, then arrange the apricot halves all over the bottom of pan on the brown sugar, placing cherry halves between. Set aside while preparing the cake. For cake: cream the 1/3 cup butter, granulated sugar, cocoa and cinnamon; add eggs, beaten very little, and whip the mixture vigorously. Then add the flour and baking soda, sifted together, alternately with the milk. Add vanilla and pour batter into the pan over the fruit. Bake in a 350~. Oven 35 to 40 minutes. Turn out immediately. Serve warm.

What is friendship? Friendship is an in-depth relationship. Friendship is comfortable and relaxed. Friendship requires meeting the needs of both friends.

Here is an amazing love story . Read on..!He met her on a party. She was so outstanding, many guys chasing after her, while he so normal, nobody paid attention to him. At the end of the party, he invited her to have coffee with him, she was surprised, but due to being polite, she promised. Power pop quintet the Click Five formed in Boston in mid-2003. Lead guitarist Joe Guese, bassist Ethan Mentzer, and keyboardist Ben Romans were students at the Berklee School of Music when they captured the attention of svengali manager Wayne Sharp, a longtime jazz promoter whose first attempt at creating a pinup-ready pop combo, Candy (featuring future Guns N' Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke), ended in commercial disaster when the group's hotly tipped 1985 debut, Whatever Happened to Fun, flopped at retail. After signing Guese, Mentzer, and Romans, Sharp added another Berklee student, drummer Joey Zehr, who recommended childhood friend Eric Dill to fill the band's frontman slot. Upon receiving their Sharp-issued matching mod-influenced suits and salon-styled haircuts, the Click Five began honing their chops on the Boston nightclub circuit, and in the spring of 2004 cut their first two-song demo session. A four-song tape quickly followed, and within a month the group signed to Lava Records, soon after touring the U.S. in support of Ashlee Simpson and releasing an EP, Angel to You (Devil to Me). The Click Five's debut LP, Greetings from Imrie House, followed in the summer of 2005 amid a flurry of licensed lunchboxes, trading cards, and hair products. The album was also supported via tour dates in support of the Backstreet Boys. To get noticed or possibly be admired, maybe even get a compliment or two. Often makeup or looking ones best gives a boost to a person's confidence and makes them ready for the day. Getting noticed for looking good is a nice plus too.

I wear makeup, a good amount, that enhances my features rather than hides them. I can spend an hour on my hair (only if I decide to straighten it) because I like to look good. I do not get big-headed about compliments but I do like them and (not to brag) get them often on either clothes, hair, or little things. If I do get compliments, it is usually on the things that I spend extra time on.

Makeup and looking good is portrayed in the media, and many people (myself included) do like to look as good as they can because it often makes them feel better. There may be an "acceptance" sort of thing involved in it (because "everyone" does it- I know everyone doesn't) but it does add confidence. It is basically all in the head.

Many also use makeup to hid flaws or things they feel must be hidden. It looks so garish when it is caked on, though, but it probably is a routine for them and they feel they cannot live without the extra 20 pounds on their face. One day they will accept themselves, but that doesn't usually happen until they have gotten over it all and have grown.

Some also experiment with styles and makeup and that is fine. It can look ridiculous at times but many wear it with confidence.

Others go natural so it all really depends on the person and their self-esteem and whether or not they feel the need to impress not just others but themselves (prove to themselves that they can look better or something along the lines of that)
